bryan landers: FriendFeeding: How to Stay Afloat

Pretty interesting... I'm still learning how best to use Friendfeed. Quantity of information is the killer, but the shift to allowing users to define groups of people has really helped me to use Friendfeed.

And I've noticed you use "like" liberally...

Hehehe...yeah, life is too short to hold back liking for any reason! I also have noticed that I really dig when friends "like" entries because it comes up in my feeds then, and I discover a lot of new content that way.

Grouping changes everything, right? It becomes possible to subscribe to/follow larger numbers of people and still get useful info out of the madness. I used to spend extra time making sure I saw real friends' feeds, and FF lists completely solves that problem.

Btw, you're in my "Best" list. That may be why you see a lot of likes ;)

Grouping does change everything... and I'll remember how you use "liking".

It's interesting that we all use services in different ways, yet to get the maximum benefit out of it we almost have to broadcast to people the way we use each service so that people know.
