how do you meditate when your apt is kind of noisy?

hahaha. well, i guess your options are: ask the apartment to be quiet, give the dog some dramamine, learn to block out all audible distractions, buy some earplugs, or attempt nirvana elsewhere.
which is best? i wouldn't know i don't meditate ;)
